BACKGROUND

GWA Bathrooms & Kitchens was appointed to provide a full schedule of fixtures and fittings for this new residential development located in the landmark Rhodes Waterside precinct.  Proving to be leaders in water efficiency technologies, GWA Bathrooms & Kitchens supplied a range of dual flush toilets, water efficient taps and showerheads, as well as bathtubs and basins.

CHALLENGES

Waters Edge is one of Mirvac’s many environmentally sustainable residential releases. All common property landscaped areas are connected to a district recycled water system for irrigation, as are the apartments, for use in laundries and toilets to reduce water usage. Whilst  hot water is provided by a centralised, energy efficient, natural gas system allowing hot water usuage to be monitored and controlled.
